Mosaic you are awesome......thank you for making it another great night last night....the worship was amazing. I want to remind you that Youth Convention sign up is going on now. The deadline is the 22nd of October. It is always a lot of fun.
We talked again about The Foundation.....Jesus Christ and that we all do what we want to do. What we want to do is based on our belief system which is our foundation and it all starts with Christ. What we believe in TODAY is what we become TOMORROW. Building a good Foundation takes a lot of effort but it will hold you up for the rest of your life! See ya next week.

Wow....you guys are amazing. Thank you for being a part of the Mosaic. We talked about the foundation that has been laid at the youth group. All the hard work that has been done. All the students that have been coming for like 4 years already....the work Pastor Travis and Jena have done.....and that we need to keep building upon the Firm Foundation. Lastly we talked about the Ultimate Foundation Jesus Christ. He is our Foundation...He died for our sins....and that is what we need to build our lives upon and build Mosaic upon because everything else is sinking sand.

Tonight Jena and I said goodbye to the Mosaic.
It was truly one of the hardest things I have ever done. Jena and I have felt so blessed to be your youth pastors. And we love you all so stinkin' much.
But tonight, this was not the end of something. This was the beginning.
This was the beginning of that new level that God wants the Mosaic to go to. So hold on tight because it's going to be amazing!
Thank you for letting me be your youth pastor. Thank you for being the most amazing teens. Thank you for changing my life. Thank you for showing me that this generation that is coming up is incredible and fully capable of changing the world.
Word can't describe what you have done for us. You all will always have a spot in my heart that can not be replaced.
I'm not saying goodbye. Because we will see each other again. Either one day in the future or when we see each other again in heaven. So I'm not going to say goodbye.
Nah...I'll see you later.

NEXT WEEK Pastor Travis will begin his final series as the youth pastor at the Mosaic! We are going to be taking his final two weeks and taking some time to REMEMBER everything God has done in the Mosaic and to hear Pastor Travis' heart for every one of you Mosains!

Well if you were at the Mosaic tonight then you heard the big news.
The God we serve is very adventurous and this journey we are on can be very unpredictable at times. This is the case with what God has been doing in mine and Jena's life. We have recently felt God calling us to step down as the pastors at the Mosaic and to take a step of faith.
This has honestly been one of the toughest decisions I have ever had to make in my life. I have tried to change God's mind, debate, argue and do whatever I can so that I can stay. But God continued to show me that if I stayed it would be selfish and not what God is wanting me to do. It would hold the Mosaic back from God's best and hold me back from everything God has for my own life.
Again I want all of you to understand a few things...
1. We absolutely LOVE all of you amazing teens. (Don't forget it!)
2. The Mosaic is NOT ending. Nope, it is just beginning
3. God has HUGE things for you that will blow your mind.
The thought of leaving has been such a killer for us emotionally. We have so many memories with all of you that will never leave us. You have made a mark on our lives and their are no words that can describe how much you all mean to Jena and I. I am so proud to say I was your youth pastor. It has been an amazing journey!
But I'm not saying goodbye yet. We still have a couple weeks and we are going to enjoy every second of it. You all are incredible. We love you all so much!

WOW tonight was incredible at the Mosaic! We got real about dating and so many of you stepped up to the plate and made some pretty big commitments. Many of you have made a stand to not date until you're 18 to save yourself for your future husband or wife. Some of you decided it was time to rethink the relationships you were in. Some of you decided to save your heart and no longer give it away. Incredible. I hope you know how proud of you I am!
Here's key thoughts to remember from tonight:
- Who are you? You are a child of God and your body is a temple. That makes you so valuable!
- If you value yourself you will protect your body not give it away freely
- "Boy you better get your hands off my temple!"
- Is it lust or is it love? Lust is when you turn someone into something.
- Love is not about you. Love is always about the other person.
- Love is not an emotion. It is a choice. When things are good, you choose to love. When things are bad you can choose to love.
- Want to know if it's love or lust? Read 1 Corinthians 13:4-6!
- Do you see yourself marrying them?
- Song of Solomon 2:7 - Do not awaken love until the time is right
- Save your heart!
My prayer is that you all will experience the mystery of love to the fullest and in the right way. God has a perfect soul mate for you and if you save your heart it will be absolutely incredible. You all rock my socks off!
